Happy Birthday GamersCircle

Written by andy on Sunday, August 24th, 2003 in GamersCircle.

It has been about a year since I set out to try to make an impression on the Internet with my Gaming, Comptuer and Technical Savvy. So, I rolled it all up into one thing and called it GamersCircle. It sook some work, but now you can actually go to Google and do a search and find GamersCircle.

I haven’t done anything public with GC, but I do have a LAN party twice a year with as many of my friends as I can. This I have been doing for just over 5 years now. I think I have it down to a science for a small group of people. The first couple was a cluster and a half, we would always have to spend about 20 minuts per player trying to get thier network connectivity all setup. (thank goodness for DHCP)

Anyways.. go play a game and stop reading this. :)

Should you upgrade to Office 2003

The new office suite from Microsoft will be heading to retail shelves. The largest reasons for upgrading this time around, for me, will be to take advantage of the XML support that will be built into 2003. I have been using the beta for about a 7 months now, and it hasn’t let me down. It has been very stable, only what you would expect from Microsofts flagship product.
