In this new installment we fallow Detective Eric Mason, a cop who is on the fast track of finding the Jigsaw killer. After a gruesome discovery Mason finds a clue and tracks Jigsaw to his personal lair. What Mason doesn’t know is that there is a game being played during the investigation. A group of 8 strangers awaken and find themselves trapped in a house with no exit and no clue as to where they are. Filled with traps and deadly nerve gas, the group of strangers must find a way out of the house (or a cure) in 2 hours time before they die.
I enjoyed the hell out of the first Saw, I thought it was a brilliant film not just for the cool story but also for the surprising suspense and turn near the end. So im happy to say that this new sequel is a must see for the fans of the first film.
Saw II was good, because it is re-creating the horror genre, with its own originaluty and in a league of it’s own. Don’t get me wrong, the ‘Saw’ series is disturbing at times, because it’s so graphic and violent and so much blood and gore that by the end of it I was a little shaken.
