One of my Tivo’s Broke

At the GamersCirlce HQ, I split my computer time between the upstairs in the winter and downstairs during the summer. So, during the summer time, the upstairs Tivo gets very little use which means when I do get moved back upstairs and all settled in. There is about about 6-8 months of crap on my Tivo and having this much stuff to delete is like playing a very long game of Halo. Meaning, after a while your button fingers are all worn out.
This time, however; I thought I would do the smart thing and just reset to whole damn thing (clearing the To Do list, the season manager, the recording, etc.) , but since this is a unit that was hacked (Allowing me to be able to FTP in and run certain command line applications to extract my recording, etc.) it would seem that my hack wasn’t fully tested and supported as the unit would not come back from a reset.
Oh well!! This was about a 5 year old unit and it was time for a new one. So, instead of getting a Tivo Series II, I am trying out the DirecTV R15

# Large 120 GB Hard Drive!
# Capable of 100 Hours of Recording
# Record Two Channels at One Time
# Dolby Digital Sound Capability
# Universal Remote Control
# Caller ID Capability
I bought this at BestBuy, so I have 30 days to test it out before I make my ultimate decision.
