“When a university professor opens a forbidden scroll, he becomes possessed by the twin demons of Thunder and Lightning, who seek to return to our world to wake their brothers, the dragons. Hellboy, researcher Kate Corrigan and Russell Thorne, an albino psychic, travel to Japan to investigate. Hellboy finds the Sword of Storms, which transports him to a world of Japanese folklore. He learns that the sword not only defeated the demons but is also the key to returning them to Earth. The possessed professor sends several creatures of Japanese myth to retrieve or destroy the sword.

“Meanwhile, intense thunderstorms are spreading over the planet and huge monsters are waking all over the world. Suspecting that it’s all connected to the events in Japan, Liz Sherman and Abe Sapien rush to join Kate and Russell. Their plane is hit by lightning and crashes into the sea, and they have to face a giant creature of their own. They learn that if the dragons completely awake, it will be an end to Man’s dominion of the Earth. In the world of folklore, Hellboy is tricked into breaking the sword, which brings him and the two demons back into our world.”

For quite some time ago it was said that that SPIDER-MAN 3 would feature four villains.

We’re all aware of the new Green Goblin, Sandman and Venom but who was the fourth?

The rumors were that Quentin Beck, aka Mysterio, would be making an appearance in the film but when asked at the Comic-Con, director Sam Raimi wouldn’t comment.

It has always been said that Bruce Campbell would be starring as Beck but not much context.

Today, FilmIck is reporting that Beck/Mysterio is indeed in the film and explains the context behind his appearance. It’s probably not what you think but pretty damn creative. I wont’ give it away here for all the purists, but those who are interested can follow this link to find out a little bit more about the news. Movieweb (thanks Tone!) got thier hands on a teaser trailer for the upcoming remake of George Romero’s classic zombie apocalypse, Day of the Dead, starring Ving Rhames and Mena Suvari.

The last tip that I passed along for BF2142 for autologin might have helped out, but this one will help get you into the game faster.

The introductory movies to BF2142 add to the startup time for the game, as well as the memory usage. To disable them permanently, you can’t use the +restart command line command, as this no longer works. I also don’t recommend deleting the movie files – this may cause problems with verification of client information on certain servers and/or with Punkbuster. So the simplest method to skip the startup movies is to go to your \Program Files\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142\mods\bf2142\Movies directory and rename all the .bik files to something else (e.g. rename EA.bik to EA._bik). This will prevent these movie files from loading at startup and take you straight to the main login screen.

Note that renaming or moving the Titan tutorial movie titan_tutorial.bik will cause problems if you try to view the Titan Tutorial by clicking the ‘Titan Tips’ option under Multiplay, so it is not recommend that you rename this file – you can leave it as is, as it does not add to the startup time in the full version of the game.
