Upgraded to Office 2007

During the install/upgrade , I was prompted for my Office 2003 CD and since I had that available I was not stopped at that point. Once the upgrade was done though, I attempted to run Outlook, which ran fine, but there was a complaint that Outlook could not locate the folder to deliver the mail and that was not Outlook 2007’s fault either.
It would seem that somehow, during my upgrade from Office XP to Office 2003, I got my *.pst files are messed up as I had two (2) personal folders, but only one (1) *.pst file, since it didn’t hurt anything, I didn’t worry about it. This however was a problem for Outlook 2007. I was able to fix it by removing the data file, adding a new one and then, re-adding the *.pst file and moving the mail over. There might have been a quicker way, but this worked for me.
The only thing that I lost was my mail rules, but those are easy enough to fix, besides that. So far so good. I just have to get used to the Ribbon.

It’s the day everyone has been waiting for with keen anticipation. That’s right, it’s “Emergence Day” ! In honor of this momentous occasion, Xbox Live marketplace is offering some free Gears of War downloadable content for the US, Canada and Mexico.
