Time for an Upgrade

Written by andy on January 14th, 2007 in GamersCircle.

Over the weekend, I mapped out a new system and just got through ordering all of the parts needed:

Mobo
Intel D975XBX2
CPU
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Quad-Core Processor 2.4GHz
RAM
2 GB Corsair DDR2 800
Video
nVidia GeForce 8800GTX 768mb
C Drive
WD Caviar 80GB
D Drive
WD Caviar SE16 320GB
DVD Rom
Sony 16X
CDRW
Sony 52x/32x/52x
PowerSupply
Silverstone 750 Watt modular
Case
Coolermaster Centurion 5 Mid Tower
CPU Fan
Zalman CNPS7000B-AlCu

This is going to be my 2007 & 2008 machine as there are a lot of new games coming out that are going to need more power and since I like the pretty stuff to be pretty and blow me away it was an all or nothing leap.
