Mark your calendar’s and keep May 3rd open so that you can pop in and get a free comic book in celebration of the 6th annual Free Comic Book Day.
1. What is “Free Comic Book Day?”
As the name implies, Free Comic Book Day is a single day when participating comic book specialty shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their stores.
2. When is Free Comic Book Day?
Free Comic Book Day is held the first Saturday in May each year. This year’s event takes place on May 3, 2008.
3. Are they really free?
Yep! - Everyone gets 1 (one) free comic.
4. Can I get more than one free comic?Sure - for each canned good that you bring in, you will get an additional comic book. The donations will be going to the Twin Lakes Food Bank.
Be sure to arrive early; the free stuff is only while supplies last! You can use the Free Comic Book Day locator to find us or your local participating location.
