		<description>from someone "in the know" at Paramount, I have been told that the story line (take it or leave it as fact or rumour) is that Capt Pike and the Enterprise NEVER really left Talos IV.  The entire series as we know it has actually been nothing more than the Talosians creating these stories within Pike's and his crews' minds.  That's about pretty much all I have been told.  The other tidbit is that somehow Kirk is Kirk and is the one who finally breaks Pike and the original crew free.  
Take it for what it's worth.</description>
